Synopsis
Hagumi Hanamoto has just moved to Tokyo to attend an art college. She is a genius painter but an extremely shy girl. One day in April, Yuta Takemoto, a junior majoring in architecture, spots Hagumi near a pond within the campus and instantly falls in love with her. She turns out to be the assistant professor Mr. Hanamoto's second cousin. A few days later, Yuta's college hosts an art exhibition contest. The winning painting was a dynamic piece of work by Hagumi. Yuta's friend Shinobu Morita, a sculpture major, had been winning the contest every year. He takes one look at the painting and runs off. Yuta runs after him and arrives at Mr. Hanamoto's office. Shinobu finds Hagumi there and hugs her out of the blue. "It's been a while since I saw a painting that grasped my heart like that" he says. "I like your work too" she replies. Yuta is shocked to see the bond between the two. There's also Yuta's friend, Ayumi Yamada, who has a crush on classmate Takumi Mayama. But Takumi has fallen in love with Rika Harada, a designer who he works for part time.

Synopsis
Friend, Our Legend is a drama adaptation of the 2001 gangster classic film "Friend" both by the same director, Kwak Kyung Taek. This drama is a gritty, brilliant, star-studded tale of four childhood friends who grow up to become enemies and bitter rivals. Hyun Bin plays a hardened mobster; a role legendized by Jang Dong Gun in the film.

Last Friends [J-Drama]

Synopsis
Last Friends tackles issues that afflict the current generation. Michiru's mother has brought a man back to their home and she is bullied at her workplace where she works as a beauty parlour assistant. She starts cohabiting with her boyfriend, a good young man who works at the Child Welfare Division and the only person who can give her emotional support, but ends up the victim of domestic violence and becomes fearful of love. The boyishly charming Ruka was a classmate of Michiru's in junior high school. She has performed brilliantly as a motocross racer and aims to win the national championship, but as the story progresses, a deep worry that she can neither confide in her parents or close friends grows evident. Takeru is a hair and makeup artist acquainted with Ruka. He is a good confidant to females due to his kindness and perceptiveness, and finds himself attracted to Ruka but has a phobia of sex as a result of a past trauma. The three of them become house mates and through their associations with others, gain the capacity to be positive about life. --jade_frost
